The value of a diamond is established by determining its' characteristic qualities, the renowned 4 C is valid throughout the World.

The weight of a diamond is measured in carats. One carat (ct) corresponds to a weight of 0.200 grams, and its Stock exchange quotation is valued in hundredths of a carat.

Colour
The most important characteristic of an investment diamond is undoubtedly the colour, seeing that the price is undoubtedly established according to the quality of the colour itself. For investment diamonds only, the first three shades quality: RIVER, TOP WESSELTON and WESSELTON (D-E-F-G-H).

Clarity
The internal characteristic of a diamond is clarity. According to the international directives, the clarity of a diamond can only be established with an enlargement ten times the size of the original. Only stones with a very high degree of clarity should be purchased as investmen diamonds, that is: 1F (lens clarity), VVS/1-VVS/2 (including minimal impurities), and VS/1-VS/2 (with few impurities)

Cut
Diamonds can be cut in different shapes, but only the 8-symmetric brilliant cut with 57 facets (round cut), has Worldwide recognition. The proportions and the symmetry should lye within Very Good-Very Good and Good-Good.
